I’ve included a few homework and study resources that may be helpful to you as your work on assignments and study for this course. I highly recommend you take some time to visit each site. I still use them today, when I have questions, or need a quick brush refresher.

Khan Academy is an excellent resource for free practice problems and videos on a wide variety of math topics. The thing that I like best about Khan Academy is how well the content is organized. If you check out 7th or 8th grade math topics at the links below, you will find almost 200 additional exercises along with videos that will help you practice the material. If you create an account, you can track your progress and earn points!

For instance, if you type in Pythagorean Theorem into the search bar, you will be able to click through a 2 page lesson with fully worked examples. This website is free, but there is also an option to sign up for their online tutoring services.

- Math is Fun.com is another homework and topic resource that is free to students. Lessons start with the basics and then build on your knowledge as your click through the lesson and practice problems. The assessments usually provide you with 10-20 practice problems and let you review the answer and see why you may have gotten it incorrect. Now Math.com has organized problems based on Common Core Math Standards. You can read through the standards while practicing related problems. Cool, huh? Here is another free resource for you to practice your math skills! Problems are organized by grade level and are in alignment with the Common Core Standards. For all my lessons, I will tell you which Common Core Standard we are studying. Use that information to find practice problems on this website and build your skills. This site will also keep track of your progress.
